First and foremost, thanks to everyone who came out and kicked it with us for the Grand Re-Opening. Me, Javon, and the rest of the Me Phi crew appreciate all the support you guys give us and can't thank you enough. Special shout out to the staff - Grizelle, Mo Fresh, Mario, and Curtis for all their help getting the store ready. We'd also like to thank The Fresh Fiends - La, Summer, and Christina, David Lewis, Jeremy Green, and DJ Chill for helping make the event a success. Lady La of The Fresh Fiends put together this calendar to raise money for an Austism Foundation here in the Valley. Half the value of each calendar sold is being donated towards the cause. Her family has been directly affected by the disorder - her youngest brother, Derrick, lives with the complications of Autism each and every day. From La's site:

Autism is a developmental disorder that appears in the first 3 years of life, and affects the brain’s normal development of social and communication skills. Most parents of autistic children suspect that something is wrong by the time the child is 18 months old. Some children appear normal from ages 1 to 2 then suddenly “regress” and lose language and social skills they had previously gained, like MY brother. To say this condition has changed my life and my family’s life is an understatement. The numbers are increasing EVERY year with children who are diagnosed. All of these children require hundreds of therapy hours, thousands of dollars in vitamins, and thousands of dollars in dietary needs in order to be somewhat recovered, there is no cure.

Generally Speaking - fanny packs are awesome.

The Fresh Fiends just dropped their latest foto-graphic adventure. Inspired by a classic Vogue Cover, and shot by Photographer Evan Taylor Gunville the Fiends updated the original and created a multi-ethnic "Hoody Trinity" (classic!). Each of the ladies is wearing their own accessories kit comprised of the latest looks from Annie Basulto over at Cubannie Links.

Fresh Fiends have officially dropped the results of their latest Photo Shoot. Entitled "Hype Fiends" the shoot examines the the cultural phenomenon that has dudes sleeping on sidewalks prior to a sneaker launch and ladies in the bathroom with their man's clippers contemplating the "Cassie" (or more accurately, the "Kesh" the "J.Davey" or any other number of females that rocked it first - but I digress.)

What up Fresh Fiends!  The ladies sent us a stack of Posse Up stickers and we only have these 3 left.  From NY to LA, guys and girls were snatchin them up left and right during All Star weekend......reppin hard for the Fresh Fiends crew!  

For those of you that are deaf, dumb, or living under rocks, Keri Hilson was in town this past week as part of Lil Wayne and T-Pain's latest tour. While in the Valley of the Sun she copped herself an official Fresh Fiends Tote and declared herself a fiend to the fullest.
