We've been working on this for a while and are happy to finally let everyone know the details of our event on May 29th. Me Phi, along with our friends Regne, are bringing Dom Kennedy to Tempe, AZ for a live performance. There will be additional performers along with giveaways and the release of a limited collab tee. Below are the details.
Me Phi In-Store: 9PM-10 PM

Tickets are available for purchase at Me Phi and Regne. A ticket gets you entrance into the in-store and roof-top parties. There is limited capacity for the roof-top so pick yours up before they're sold out. If you'd like to reserve a table on the roof-top please contact David Lewis at d.lewis@modalew.com. We will be hosting a pool party this Saturday at The Lofts at Rio Salado. We will have 3 open bars...... kegs, daiquiri's, margarita's, and more. Along with that we'll be BBQ'ing TONS of food. The party starts at 3 and goes until 9 PM.

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who came out and kicked it with us for the Grand Re-Opening. Me, Javon, and the rest of the Me Phi crew appreciate all the support you guys give us and can't thank you enough. Special shout out to the staff - Grizelle, Mo Fresh, Mario, and Curtis for all their help getting the store ready. We'd also like to thank The Fresh Fiends - La, Summer, and Christina, David Lewis, Jeremy Green, and DJ Chill for helping make the event a success. I'd also like to thank my girl and the ultimate jack of all trades, Mazie. She has helped in every facet of the business and made my job much easier. Her help has been invaluable. Last and certainly not least, I wanna thank my brothers of Me Phi for being the best friends anyone could ask for. Without you guys none of this would be possible.
We finished setting up the shop and are anxious to open up the doors to the new Me Phi. It was a lot of hard work but we're surrounded by a great team of people who helped get us to this point. We're confident that you guys will love the new space and hopefully we'll see you tomorrow night for the kickoff celebration! Also, the after-party will be at Suede in Old Town Scottsdale. P.S. - Some people have asked where they should park for the opening. My best suggestion is the public parking lot right behind our store, between 5th and 6th street. It's on Maple Ave - the first hour is free and it's only $1.00 each additional hour. After you park just walk a block up either 5th or 6th then turn onto Mill and we're between Divaz and Cookies.
We've been laying low for the past month but on Saturday, January 30th we will be opening up the doors to our new shop in Tempe, AZ. The party jumps off at 7 PM and will include music, store specials, and a couple cool give-aways. Come kick it with us and check out the new and improved Me Phi. We'll also be having an after-party and will let you guys know more details later this week.

What up everyone, just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on with Me Phi over the last couple weeks. We have closed our Scottsdale store and will be opening up a new shop on Mill Ave in Tempe, AZ. We'd like to thank everyone who supported us while we were in Scottsdale and made the move to a bigger space in Tempe possible. It's all going down at our store - 4211 N. Scottsdale Rd from 6-9pm so come grab a plate, grab a cup, and maybe even snatch up a few new pieces. (If you keep your fingers crossed, you might even walk out with some free stuff as well - but more on that later ;) )

I have a XBOX 360 and play it every now and then but the game system our crew uses the most is Nintendo. Not Super NES, Nintendo DS, or Wii........ I'm talkin bout ol school Nintendo with Duck Hunt, Contra, Super Mario, Excitebike, and the greatest game ever made - Tecmo Super Bowl. We play this at Gourmet's house on the regular and only have one rule - no one can play with the Raiders b/c Bo Jackson is so freakin fast it's not fair to the other team. Below is a video of a rather intense game between Gourmet and myself. Parental discretion is advised..... a serious game of Tecmo Super Bowl results in some pretty foul language.
Btw, Gourmet's voice is usually not that high. He just gets really nervous and ends up sounding like a 12 yr old girl.
Sorry if you've tried to visit our blog today and experienced any problems. We're revamping the entire site and that's been the cause of all the issues. Our new site will be up and running shortly and will include many more features than our current blog. Stay tuned for that and a couple other big announcements coming from the Me Phi crew in the very near future!

Following up on the last post....... we welcome another new brand from local designer Matt Grosso called How Alive Clothing. Matt, who is socially and politically aware, uses his views on the world as inspiration for his line. Nothing is off topic - from the f***** up photo radar system in AZ to government's using war to make money - each one of Matt's pieces have a message. 
Here at Me Phi we like to keep an eye out for up and coming brands and designers...... especially if they're local guys or girls. Our buddy Curtis with All Nice was the first small local designer that we stocked and his brand has been a great seller in our shop. Just recently All Nice was picked up by the skate shop Industrial. Starting in late August you will be able to find All Nice in Industrial store's located in Chandler AZ, Glendale AZ, Las Vegas NV, and Albuquerque NM. We just wanted to say congrats to Curtis and wish him much more success in the future!
