Southern Hospitality

Once a year Javon throws a crawfish boil in our hometown of Lafayette, LA. The cookout is a big event so anyone and everyone is welcome to come by. This year there were fun jumps and a magic show for the kids, food for everyone, a fashion show, and our homie Cupid performed a couple songs from his album. We didn't get much footage b/c everyone was too busy eating to take pics, lol. I did record a lil bit from Cupid and DJ Chill's set but it's a lil shaky......it's not easy trying to film and dance at the same time.

Weekend Getaway

Sorry for the lack of updates this past weekend.  We took a trip to Louisiana for an annual cookout so getting on the computer was the last thing on our mind....... too busy stuffing our greedy faces, lol.  We'll be posting pics and vids of all the good times from this weekend as well as pics of all the new goods that have come into the shop.  New drops from Crooks and Gone Corporate so stay tuned.  Peace!!!!

The Knux

Wanted to take a second and shout out an up and coming duo known as The Knux.  Crispy, one-half of the tandem, stopped by our shop a couple weeks ago and showed Me Phi some love.  Their music is fresh, original, and straight up dope.  And just like Me Phi they're from Louisiana so you know we're gonna rep them to the fullest!  You can cop their album, "Remind Me in 3 Days", at stores or on Itunes.

From their website:
For those of you who like to put things in boxes, it’s like this: The Knux are a self-produced group comprised of two brothers from New Orleans. They play all their own instrumentation and fight like The Kinks. Their debut album sounds like Outkast, Juvenile, Tha Pharcyde, and The Strokes concurrently blasting, out of a drop-top Jag on Sunset Blvd. on a Saturday night in the summer. Wrap your head around that.
