The homie Curtis just dropped off some tee's and fitteds from his company All Nice. Included are some re-releases as well as a couple new designs. Me Phi would also like to say congrats to Curt for being picked up by Karmaloop and expanding his brand. You can see more from All Nice at www.beallnice.com.
...at least you got to witness...."
Made Me's Fall '09 collection is entitled 'Tough Love' and it looks every bit the part. From rough and tumble tees to distressed denim and leather, the collection combines tough tempered by sweet.

No one knows this better than designer Erin Magee-Albino, the creative brainchild behind NYC label Made Me. A longtime fan of the singer (Erin even has Madonna’s likeness tattood on her!), Made Me’s new Fall 09 collection, appropirately dubbed “Tough Love”, embodies the same spirit of challenging the convention of what sexy really is.
Inspired by androgyny and NYC street sensibility, the collection features traditionally masculine silhouettes in feminine fits, such as the stand-out piece, a butta soft leather motorcycle jacket covered with a beautiful rose print. A studded denim vest is just as tough girl in feel, perfect for layering over the brand’s statement tees and cozy-looking flannels.
You can grab your own Made Me '09 'statement tees' at Me Phi this fall. Click here

Yeah...I think that basically sums up the entire series...

Always Sunny in Philadelphia premieres tonight @ 10pm with their fifth season of Charlie, Dennis, Mac, and Sweet Dee shenanigans. If I'm not answering my phone later, at least now you'll know it's not 'cuz I'm avoiding you.
Shepherd Fairey is steady commemorating the biggest events in sports, pop culture, and politics using his now iconic blend of color, composition, and line. In honor of 23's AKA Michael Jordan's induction into the NBA Hall of Fame, Fairey created limited edition silk-screened prints featuring some of 'His Airness'' greatest moments.
Via C'est La Vie:
Everything about Michael Jordan is iconic, from his slam dunks to his signature shoes to his tongue wagging to his number, so he makes a great subject for portraiture because everything about him is laced with cultural significance. You can tell from the look in his eyes, even back when he was at the University of North Carolina, that he was obsessed with greatness, but he also managed to do everything with a sense of flair. I think it’s that combination of intensity and style, and of course his singular talent, that make him the embodiment of a legend.
The initial set of master prints are autographed by both Fairey and Jordan and go on sale today via Obeygiant.com for a cool $4499.99 ea.
Generally Speaking - fanny packs are awesome.
They're cute, easily accessible, perfect for tourist-y occasions, they keep all your ish safe and in a place that's easy to grab in an emergency. To put it simply: they're just all around fantastic.
So how do you improve something that's practically the definition of perfection?

Twice a year members of the fashion industry meet up in Las Vegas for numerous tradeshows held throughout the city. It's a pretty hectic week but it's a great chance to catch up with friends - in addition to getting some work done. There are many shows such as Magic, Project, and Pool but my favorite is the Capsule Show. Full disclosure: Capsule is run by my homegirl Deirdre Maloney, proud member of the A-Team. (FYI: The A-Team is a group of 6 girls who are basically sisters to the Me Phi crew). The show is hosted by Deirdre's company, BPMW, which also hold shows in Vegas, New York, and Paris.
I hit up Magic and Project, the two biggest shows, but didn't spend much time at either spot. On my last day in town I headed over to a private showing held by Black Scale, Amongst Friends, and Mishka. Everyone there was mad cool and I got a chance to see some of the heat that Black Scale & Amongst Friends are getting ready to drop. Overall the weekend was productive but I'm happy to be back in AZ. Even more important is the fact that I'm happy to be far away from any casino and the thieves that disguise themselves as blackjack dealers.
