The first installment is a video clip from around 4 or 5 yrs ago. Her name is Miri Ben-Ari and she's known as the Hip Hop Violinists. I remember watching this on TV and rockin to it like I was in the club, lol. Check it at the 2:20 mark when she plays a classic and has the crowd losin it!
When me or one of my homeboys see someone that either handled their business in a movie, delivered a sick verse on a song, rocked a clean outfit, or did a hilarious stand up routine we say "Damn, he/she killed it". Example: "Say cousin, I went to that Jay Z concert last night and he killed it, Mary J did her thing and killed it too!" Anyway, I say all that to give you the rundown on a new topic we'll have on the blog called "Killed It." We'll be posting certain video clips and pics of people who are doing their thing in movies, music, fashion, comedy, sports, and even politics.
